hissing noise

is it common to have a quiet hissing noise coming from the engine. seems to be only when cruising and maintaing speed and right after it goes to overdrive or the tc locks. and tonight it seemed to go on and off within about two seconds but i think i was in regen...

It's ur turbo. No big deal. They all do it. Back pressure and pressure release i think is the proper term. Simone might quickly correct me though.

i appreciate it, i did not think it was bad but im new to these engines and was just wondering. i actually ride around with the radio off just to here the darn thing spool down!
