Widest tire on lariat wheels

Can I put a 35x13.50 on a 09 20in lariat wheels

12.5 is pushing it. 13.5" is really getting hairy. Having such a wide tire on such a narrow rim is gonna cause them to wear faster, and they will prolly be real squirrelly and I wouldn't tow with them. I think the proper rim width for a 12.5" tire is 9-11" rim width. So a 13.5" tire would be closer to a 10-12" wide rim.

I know a couple of guys who are runing 13.50son their stock wheels. I am running a set od 35x1250s on my stock King Ranch 20s (same as lariat wheel) and I wouldn't really want to go any widerthan 12.50 on a stock rim. It can be done, but I would not do it for the reasons mentioned above.

I guess I'm pushing it now with the 35x12.50. I guess it's time to look for a 20x12 wheel
