How to remove muffler?????

Doing a down pipe back exhaust. Removed everything, but can't get the muffler out. I don't want to cut it. Please help. Out thru front? Out thru back? How?

What I did was put my drop hitch in the receiver and put it as low as possible then used a jack the lift the truck from that point to extend the rear suspension as much as possible before the rear tires leave the ground and took the spare tire and heat shield out of the way and took it out toward the rear of the truck.

If ya still need more room you can unbolt the bottom mount of the rear shock and swing it forward out of the way. Do exactly what he said by extending the suspension as far as possible. I got mine out without removing the spare tire but with mine being a short wheel base my tail section prolly isn't as long which makes it easier to work out

All I did was jack up the right rear, put a jack stand , and took off the right rear tires(dually). It came right out.
