H&S mounting
I just recieved a H&S mini Maxx today. I was wondering if there is any insight to the best install. do most of you leave it on the dash? or do you program and remove from sight. I'm trying to decide if the 75 bucks is worth it for the mounting pod. thanks, dale

I hide mine because I don't want some fool trying to break into my truck to steal my "navigation unit."
People will still anything with a screen in your vehicle. That's my thought and why I don't leave things like that in sight. Out of sight; out of mind. |

Mine sits in the dash in front of the tach, sits right on the ledge there, look though the steering wheel to see it with all the other gauges.

I use the 2011-2012 silverish mount for mine. It looks the best. And with my tint people have to look pretty hard to notice it.

I use the pod mount and I put a little piece of 3M tape on the back to keep it from moving.

I prefer the Blendmount myself. It keeps it up and out of the way and never moves around. Good solid mount.
