Just FYI for Cab Off repairs

Found this bulletin....it states that if Cab Off repairs have to be complete under warranty, that any NON-FORD equipment that has to be removed for Cab Off Repairs is covered under warranty.

Thought this might be an interesting fact for our 6.4 owners.

However, if the vehicle equipment does NOT allow for body removal, ALL repairs can
be completed with the vehicle body in place.
I wonder if that statement holds true for the 6.0?

Dunno, only found the bulletin for the 6.4s. Probably not, we ALL know how they feel about warranties on our 6.0s!

ford has always allowed a tech to claim "M time" for removal of aftermarket accesories to allow for access with a repair. This isnt anything new. It doesnt mean we get paid to take your edge box off for you though:fawkdance:

i would suspect that was primarilly meant for stuff like aftermarket running boards, camper topers, brush bumpers, etc. that might be in the way of getting to a repair?

Gotcha Marc...yeah, I figured that was meant for the bolt on stuff like brush guards or stuff like that. I just never saw it in writing before.

That memo also applies to special vehicle engineered vehicles also,a special program partnered with manufacturers of specialty vehicles. Does it apply to "freelance" customizers i wonder????
