4.10 or 4.30

I'm ready to order my '08 PSD F350 LB DRW 4X4.

The main purpose will be to tow my 15,500 lb Cedar Creek 5th wheel. Actually that should be the top end weight with the unloaded weight more like 12,260.

I am trying to decide between the 4.10 axle ratio and 4.30 axle ratio. Will I have enough in the heat and over the mountains with the 4.10? Will I lose 2 miles a gallon with the 4.30? Which will run smoother with the powertrain? I assume that the 4.30 will give me a little more safety on the downgrade.

What is the tradeoff? What is the answer?
