EPA forces Edge to pay

Ok guys, this is on the 6.0 forum so I decided to repost here to see what you guys think it will do with H+S, since I own a mini. Please try to stay on topic here, if you want to turn it into a 3 page political rant then go over to the 6.0 forum because that's what theirs turned into. I don't care about Obama or all that talk, I'm curious if H+S is going to be forced to try and buy back or disable our old mini's.

That's just so gay! I emailed H&S about the Mini Maxx about a week ago and the new update they just put out and they said they are still going to keep making updates for their customers with the DPF deleted Mini Maxx's but I'm sure that could quickly change with BS like this being handed out. Hopefully they struck a good deal with the EPA by just changing the tuners.

I'm keeping all my firmware and updates saved on my computer though just to be safe.

If H&S were my company I would seriously look at moving the whole operation to Mexico or Panama or somewhere and just send all the units out from there. I don't like it when big brother starts pushing the little guys around!

I would leave the EPA crap on if they were willing to buy me a new engine when I hydrolock or new turbos when the DPF cooks them. Until then, can they really expect us all to be willing to drive around with a $20k liability like this?

This angers me beyond belief. I hope our diesel communities across the nation can develop strong enough support to have a counter to this madness. One step closer to political chaos. Great.
