Egr valve left in place after cooler deletes

I removed both egr coolers but had to leave the egr valve in place due to ordering a cooler only delete. Is there a good reason to go back and complete the job? What are the pros and cons of leaving it as is?

Thanks for any insight.

The aftermarket elbow is smoother flowing than the stock elbow and also cleans up the engine bay in that area a little due to the stock elbow being as big and bulky as it is. What alot of people do is put the aftermarket elbow in along with replacing the factory cac pipe to improve air flow. Other than that it's not totally necessary to change it out.

Exactly what he said^^^^
Look at the cac tube where it passes through the radiator support.. It's HIGHLY restrictive! And so is the egr intake elbow.

Ill hafta take a pic if the cac tube here soon, don't have one in my iphone

Sent from another smart phone..
