Buying a 6.4

Hey guys,
looking at an 08 6.4 this week sometime. It has 138k on it with the manual transmission. Stock as far as I can tell. What do I need to specifically look for in regards to the motor? I have a couple 6.0s and 7.3's but dont know much about the 6.4 Just want to know what I need to check out concerning the motor! T

Thanks!!

The usual things:

Front and rear of engine and transmission for leaks.
Check the radiator hoses and end caps for leaks.
Bring a disposable bottle with you and check the water separator for flow (low flow means it probably wasn't checked very often).
Check your suspension bits for excessive play.
Get service records and OASIS report
Look at coolant levels and color.
Drive truck and check response and for smoke when acceleration/under load.
Excessive noise when idling or running (it's going to be a lot quieter than your 6.0).
Make sure the heater works.
Inspect the brakes
Check all fluid levels to make sure they are where they need to be.

Is there a way I can tell if the radiator has been updater or replace or what not?
