few questions
Hello. first off i am looking to buy a H&S mini maxx for a future truck and was curious if one off of a duramax or cummins would program straight onto a 6.4. i'm looking to purchase because i want to get one while i still can.
Second question, my dad is looking to change his fuel filters on his 6.4 and i thought i read somewhere where their is a certain method to change the filters. any advice i should give him on the filter change? And lastly i thought i read somewhere that the 6.4 had a built in pyro in the computer system, and that with a mini maxx it would read it from that. well on my dads mini maxx it doesn't read anything on pyro 1 or 2. thanks for any and all thoughts and if anyone knows anyone with a mini maxx for sale let me know |

2) After changing the fuel filters, you need to prime the system prior to starting the truck. Cycle the key on for a couple seconds, then off and repeat this 6 or 7 times. 3) Pyro 1 is the one he should be using. If he isn't getting a reading then there is an issue with the stock pyro sensor. What exactly does it say when he has pyro 1 on the guage display screen? |

I find it easier to cycle the key as well, but the little button hidden under the panel pull which is located under the door jam pillar area of the passenger door (floggin mouth full) cycles the pumps too.. when changing the engine mounted fuel filter, be mindful nothing falls in the bowl whilst the filter is off..
Yup.. something is wrong with that pyrometer or something is wrong with the mini maxx.. |

Thanks for the help guys. If I remember right the pyro 1 reads zero. But I'm not 100% positive on that
