Unhappy fuel cooler pump problems

Hey guys my trucks throwing trouble code:

P008C FUEL COOLER PUMP CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN

ford techs help? Anyone know what this means?

Truck dosent run different at all.

I read up a while ago how a few people deleted it. Not sure that's a good idea. In that thread it said the pump was always off unless fuel temps got to a certain temp. Not sure what temp it was but I would imagine in the winter months its not a big deal but I would fix it sooner then later. I also read that if the fuel does get to hot you would see a significant loss in power. I'm no expert on this just relaying info I read hope this helps

Does anyone know specifically know the location of the fuel cooler pump?

And what tools and what has to come off to get to it?
