What is the best place to flush open up the system to do a full flush?
Thanks for the help.

Did you drive it after he put the washer fluid in it?

Thanks for the replies. He drove the truck to my house about 6 miles. He put about 4 ounces of fluid in before it filled up and he realized. Today I flushed it with about 10qts until the fluid was clear. Drove it afterwards and it worked fine. PS and brakes felt as good as they have for the last 4 yrs. Is it possible that there was no harm done or should I just suck it up and replace the pump to avoid a problem?

If the pump is fine now, it should stay fine. If there was going to be a problem, I suspect it already would've shown itself.

So what would the differences be when performing this procedure on our 6.4l's? Which fluid? Looks fairly easy so this may be something I see myself doing in the near future.

The process is exactly the same. I did mine about 6 months ago. I used mobil 1 ATF.
