accelerated or revved up in park? could be the cold high idle engaging

I never cycle the glow plugs in my 6.4. Truck fires fine at 30*

Mine revved up on me yesterday, but it was -33c and first run of the day. Happened as I had foot on brake and put into drive. Revved to about 1300/1400 then back down.

I've heard of this happening alot with 6.4's. some guys it has accelerated like the pedal was mashed to the floor. Mine will rev up to 1000 Rpm's randomly in a drive through or in parking lots. Had the dealer inspect it buy they couldn't find anything with the computer or duplicate the same symptoms.

Mine did it again plowing the other night. I was pushing snow and stopped to soon and needed to push a little further so I have it a little fuel and it just hung at 1000 rpm's like always lol. It's always when I give it light throttle quick like that. Either backing in the garage or parking spot. On occasion when I am accelerating on the road, sometimes when I let off the pedal the rpms will stay where they were for a second or two. Not sure what the deal is with this but it's became very normal to me. Happened tuned and stock so it's not an h&s issue

only ever does it to me in reverse if I blip the throttle it'll hang at 1000rpm. makes it easy to back the truck down my long driveway, but always kinda freaks me out. I put it in neutral and blip the throttle and it comes back down
