Replacing a my XLT rearview with a King Ranch rearview mirror

Alright guys I was a hoping for a DIY or some basic instructions. If any of you smarter people out there know where something like this is buried point in the right direction.

If not has anybody changed out a non electric mirror with an electric. Also do I need to salvage the harness that runs from mirror to headliner and then to the dash or is that extension buried some where.
