Disappointed in Rudy's

So I called Rudy's asking about their upper gasket kit. I wanted to know if they came with oem head gaskets. The salesman says they are but they aren't, he goes on to explain that they are victor reinz and that victor makes them for Ford and Ford repackages them. So I take his word for it and order them, against my better judgement. Well I get them and open them up and read the pamphlet inside and did not like the sound of it so I ordered a set of OEM and got them today and low and behold they look nothing alike other than that they are for the same engine. Not a good experience at all.

What makes me the most angry is they swore that they were the same so I had to go and spend another $170 to get the correct ones shipped to me.

No I will use the other gaskets in the kit, but the head gaskets I will not use, just because I have heard bad things about them.

Are you refering to Rudys Diesel Performance ? If so, I am also less than impressed with them because I wanted some Revx for the 6.0. So I was looking on Ebay for some because a guy can sometimes find things for cheap on there. Rudys was the cheapest so I read through the description and it did not say how big the bottles are. I have never seen the stuff or been around it so I had no idea how big or small they could be. I asked him "how big are these bottles?". He replied with "they are 8 oz bottles". So I thought cool thats a good deal. Week later I get them and they are only 4 oz bottles. He did not want to make it right and would not give me my money back unless I left positive feedback for him.
