More problems.

Some of you have read about all the problems I've had. I gotta make this short but I was driving up a hill and boost hit 30 made lots of noise and then truck lost power now there is hardly any boost. The exhaust now has a loud rumble and hardly any hair dryer noise. I'm seriously so upset I just had the turbos replaced 9000km ago. A code came up about turbo insufficient something or other. I shut the truck off for an hour restarted it now the exhaust has the hair dryer sound. I have a 9 hour drive tomorrow. Oh and the code is gone now

Man I feel your pain. I had the same type of issues with my old 7.3, turbo, IDM, Ipr, cps, water pump, and a bunch of other odd ball stuff. after fixing it and then needing something else I got tired and got a new 6.4 But I dont think I'll keep this once my warranty is up.

Man, you are having a string of misfortune right now. Sorry to hear it. Without a code, it's a little hard to diagnose though.

How about we start with a list of what's been worked on on the truck lately so we can narrow it down?

have you checked your turbos? mabye on got locked up.

or the vgt controller with the arm closed the fin in the turbo?

Check also if your veins are clogged (if u can) because the KEM tune

Does it sound like you unplugged the Vgt(people call it smoke switch)

Check the 4 wires going into the plug for the vgt on the turbo. Just throwing out ideas, my buddy works for ford and has seen them rub and short out there. I had an issues that was throwing u0073 and he said to check those wires there and it ended up being the brake control module shorting. The can/bus system if wires in these trucks are a joke. Good luck

I'm pretty sure the code was 2263 turbo charger system performance if that means anything. Truck is at the dealer and I'm stranded 8 hours from home. I drove it today and it was fine then all of the sudden boost was 30psi the whole time barely touch the throttle then when I let off back to zero. So messed up
