What tuner are you running with your dpf delete? There are lots of dyno results available for the various tunes.

H&s mini max. Default install for engine which is mild, and running on the no power level. Trams is also on the default which I believe is s 1

That is a no power level tune, but what you are experiencing is probably better throttle response since there is no more restriction in the exhaust. Run a bigger tune and see what you think then

you have your mini maxx and you havent juiced it up yet! You're FIRED!

i dont want to sound like a sally here, this is my first personal driver diesel. after hearing all my friends horror stories about trannys and heads with their hopped up tunes, i just wanted to let mine breathe a little better and it is night and day performance wise after all that emmissions stuff fell off. ive done intake and exhaust on all my gassers and ive never had anything show anywhere near the powergain as my 6.4

The 6.4 is an animal once its tuned. It wont hurt a thing on the truck to go do one or 2 big tune runs. What it will hurt is your ability to want to switch back to the lower power levels. My truck hasnt seen a tune lower than 210 in 3 years! I dont race my truck, but the power is there on the on ramp, or when someone needs passed.

thats does sound pretty cool, sounds like your pretty familiar with keeping the drive train in one piece with a healthy tune on there. let me give you a breakdown on my truck, 08 kr cc sb 44,000 miles, just got the truck a couple of weeks ago, changed every fluid in truck day after i got it so i would have a fresh slate as far as knowing when to change them again, this included full flush on radiator and tranny, sinister egr block off, diamond eye dpf cat delete, s&b intake, mini max,4.5 in rev tech lift, 33x10.50 bf at,s on stock kr 18 in wheels with 2in wheel spacers, sinister coolant filter and pmf traction bars going on next. as far as tranny and motor what tune do you think would be safe

My tranny stayed together until just under 100k. Thats with daily driving the 250 or 275 tunes and towing in the 210 tune. I dont race, but like I said, I will get on it every so often. If you dont beat on the truck your truck will stay together for a long time. I would DD a tune in the 250-275 range. Alot of guys DD the 300 tune, and I have tried that, but I just dont need that kind of HP everyday, and It didnt give me the best MPG's because it smoked a bit more than other tunes. These are KEM tunes not H&S. I would pick a tune that you are comfortable with and drive it. You arent going to hurt your truck as long as you are not a stop light to stop light racer.
