LED Lighting Set Up

Called Ford dealership locally, asked them about setting the computer in my 2008 F250 so that I can replace all brake, turn signal exterior lights with LED bulbs, and he said he knew nothing about it.

Basically all they have to do is make it so the computer doesnt recognize that a bulb is out and the LED's will function correctly for turn signals and everything.

I wish this could just be done on like an H&S tuner. Ford dealer seems clueless. I like the LED lighting way better than the stock bulbs.

Ford Fleet.com even has a step by step for the dealerships if I recall correctly.

Wow that would be awsome. So you don't have to wire in resisters or code deleat harnesses?

BigNiner19, very nice link, BUT and this is the thing that kills me, here in america, this is the land of supply and demand! Not respect and morals! the reason I say this is the "CATCH" in that service bulletin is the word to the dealership, "PURCHASE" the program. Once the laptop is set up, here is how to do this. If you really want it? talk to the service manager, find out how much the software is from ford, get some other locals interested in it and then see how much ford will charge you guys to REprogram your trucks and go from there. Me on the other hand I'll just keep wiring in the resistors in my vehicles cause they are all to old
