Overhead console cubby

What do y'all use the open space in the overhead console for?

Mine just stays on my hip. How do you secure it in there? That's not a bad idea. Seems like it would be a pretty natural draw.

Very true! I've stopped putting things up there.

I wanted to put a CB in there, but haven't gotten around to it.

I can't keep anything up there. It can be really dangerous for passengers in the middle rear seat. I kept my toll pass up there for awhile until I got on it a little and nailed my buddies wife in the chest with it.

I also keep sunglasses in there. I keep my pistol under the seat.

On a side note is there a place that sells mounts for pistols in our trucks?

It just sits there. There's a foam pad in the tray and the weight of the pistol holds it in. Only time it made it to the backseat was on a 4wd launch. Other than that its never moved. It is a decent draw. I can't seem to find a better place to put it. There's no use in having a pistol if you can't get to it in one motion. So center console is out of the question
