TSB for coolant level?

I was told there was a revision issued by FOMOCO that advised tech's to lower the degas bottle 'cold fill level' to just under the line.. is there any truth to this? I can see the TSB's here, but they aren't specific enough, and the oracle google is uncooperative while trying to nail it down..

do you fellas know anything about this?

Thank you, gents..

Mine seems to maintain the same level no matter the temperature, and it is a touch south of the cold fill line..

There is some discoloration to the degas bottle above the fill level, and its from whitish at the top to brown near the bottom.. my deltas are at an almost constant of 4 degrees, and the oil is warmer than I would like to see at around 196~199.. I don't know whats normal for others, but thats what I see..

I've been holding out on a flush until ptp delivers the egr delete.. I figured I'd do the delete and the coolant filter along with flush all at once... The level of coolant hasn't budged since I've had the truck, but the discoloration and the deltas have me a touch concerned..

Your delta of 4* is completely fine. I see the oil temp, on average, anywhere between 196 and 199. Your oil temps seem normal to me
