I need two new batts and looking at napa brand ones with 880 CCA. They are $142 each. Anyone know if they are good? Red tops only have 800 CCA. thanks.

I was waiting for some replies to. I still have my originals in the truck and was going to keep them going for awhile yet but now I read your post and am thinking about getting some batteries again before the weather gets real cold.

My originals lasted until about 90k miles, then went out when the alternator went. Replaced with Autozone gold tops. They seem fine for now, price comparable to Napa's. Don't really know about the long haul though.

I always run Motorcraft in all of our trucks. I usually have great luck with them and only one set went bad early and ford replaced them no questions asked. sorry, no experience with napa

Ok fair enough, thanks for the replies though. I'm going to give them a shot, and they have a 6 year warranty too i believe. thanks again fellas

I have always replaced my stockers with yellow tops from autozone. They have never done me wrong. I dont see why the NAPA brand wouldnt suit your needs.

My experience with the Autozone Yellow tops has not been good. I replace both batteries and had to have 3 new batteries replaced thats 5 batteries to get 2 good ones in a years time. They replaced them but who cares when they won't start your truck? I will go with Napa or fatory batteries on this truck.
