Back to stock, then p1335

Been running mini maxx on the 250 for the last year (4k miles) and put the truck back to stock a couple days ago let the truck idle for a bit, no codes, tonight I drive it 10 miles turn it off turn it back on and i get a p1335 code for the egr valve. Im thinking it got stuck from being disabled, any chance it will clear up or anything I can do to make it start working? Is there going to be any harm in driving the truck around with this problem(code)? Seems like its in limp mode, low power.

I have heard of guys just driving it a little bit harder than they normally do and the problem clears up. Worth a shot.

I had the same issue when I put my truck back to stock. I wouldn't recommend trying to remove the egr valve all together as they are very easy to break.

What worked for me was removing the electronic plug and the plastic casing over the top of the valve. I believe it's held on with three screws. Once that is removed you will see the valve from the top. You can press down on the valve several times to help free it up a bit. I pushed it down 15-20 times and put the top back on. Next I cleared the code and it never saw it again.

I hope that helps.
