It is completely ridiculous that the EPA is holding H&S (and other tuning companies) liable for how their customers user their products.

It is true there will always be options but still, come on.

In the end everyone will still be able to get aftermarket tunes online I am sure, but I suspect H&S will have to sell their tuners without DPF delete tunes, and it will be up to us to find tunes to load them with.

Has anyone gutted the DPF and cats for a stock look but tuned it? That seems like a simple solution for anyone afraid of getting pulled over.

??? They have the power to set the rules, laws not congress, that's like the local police chief writing in his own laws and not elected law makers.

"Tuesday the Washington Court of Appeals gave the EPA a blank check to run roughshod over U.S. industry without Congressional input. This breathtaking affirmation of an agency’s power over the U.S. economy is a timely reminder (in this week of Decision Obamacare) of how a narrow 5-4 Supreme Court ruling can profoundly change America’s economic landscape.

Just five years ago, in Massachusetts v. Environmental Protection Agency , five judges gave the EPA the power to regulate inert, non-toxic, non-particulate carbon dioxide (the gas human beings exhale) as a “pollutant” under the Clean Air Act — a clear violation of the intent of the Congressional legislation."

Owned my truck for a day and i just ordered one out of fear of not being able to order in the future.I had planned on buying it before i even started looking at trucks. i ended up buying a truck still under a years worth of warranty and was going to hold off on the delete for awhile to save the warranty but the hell with it. I ordered one and will hold onto it for a few months and save up for exhaust and an intake

I jumped over to the 6.4 L thread on this topic since not a lot being said on the 6.7L thread.

No farm vehicles aren't exempt from emission controls. Although I'm sure we have a lot better chance of getting away with deleted tuning compared to those who live in towns and cities.
