Dead battery question
So I'm deployed right now, but will be back in 3 weeks. And of course my batts died on my GF, now the truck will sit for 3 weeks, dead. I'm going to buy new batts when I get home, but can you fore see any other problems with starting the truck after a 3 week sit in the cold/very cold?? Thanks!

It's not too cold in Anchorage yet, it should be fine, just plug it in for a good 4 hours before you try to start it I would think.
Or you could have her run over to O'reilly's and grab a Battery Tender or Batter Tender plus and hook it up, it's very simple and it will charge it up and keep it charged without ruining your batteries. |

I'm living in an apt, so I can't plug in or run a tender right now. So the truck will have to sit with dead batts it appears. Just wondering if the truck will be ok, once the new batts are in?

Can she jump it? If not I really don't think it will hurt it to sit for 3 weeks anyway.

It's not an ideal situation but it will be fine just let your glow plugs stay on for a min before starting
