Personally I'd opt for the sunroof over the navi any day. But I didn't realize these trucks had a reputation for leaky sunroofs either.
Never used the ford navi, but most other OEM navi I've seen left me wishing for more. Personally I'll be ditching whatever HU I end up with in favor of a in-car pc. So many more options, not the least of which being my entire music and movie collection at my fingertips. I'd love the King Ranch interior, but I'm not crazy about the 6.0L. I'm also set on finding a truck with the ZF6 though, and I'm pretty sure they never made that in a CC. So that rules out switching the KR interior in (at least front and back.) As for the backup camera, its nice for sure, but you can always add one. Most every decent LCD HU these days accepts one. I wouldn't let that be a major factor in picking the right truck. |

My 08 King Ranch F350 Dually has all the options you are talking about pluss a few more and they are great. The moonroof is awsome when the weather is right, the back up camera is great. Its a little small but works just fine. The nav is nice.Less **** hanging off the windsheild.Mine also has the audiophile system and sounds pretty good.Im gonna add some Infinity speakers to replace the stock ones. And it has traction control , and that works real good. When i shut it off it likes to swing out in the rain.
I came out of a 2000 F350 Lariate Dually and couldn"t be happier. H&S Mini in the box. My cold Air S&b should be here any day, and the pipe will be ordered this week end. HELL YA!!!! |

Food for thought
IMHO I prefered and looked for the Lariat because I dig those Black leather seats. I have the back up sensors, camera, Sony sound, Navigation and the sun roof. if I could pick one that I wouldn't mind losing it would be the sun roof. I live in the country and commute to the city so the other four have become real handy. That is until it stops raining up hear in the Pacific NW and I open up the sun roof.
Frankly, if you going to be in the truck for a long while, like I intended to, why not have all the creature comforts you can afford. I have been in Ford XLTs trucks for 25 years and Rangers before that. The Lariat with these extras puts a whole new aspect to driving a truck. That is until you delete and tune it. Good luck with the purchase |

My personal option is sunroof over stock nav. The stock nav system sucks. I use my sunroof all the time around town. My only complaint is with the sunroof you will loose a few inches of head room. With a cowboy hat on and my seat all the way up, I only have an inch or two of head room (Im 6' 2"). Its still worth it to have the sunroof. I put a kenwood nav system in my truck and love it. The user interface is much better and uses garmin nav. A backup camera is something that I have never had. It may be nice, but I have driven CC LB my whole life so I know where the end of my truck is. If I had a backup camera I would want it looking at my gooseneck ball for ease of hooking up because I cant see the ball past my L tank and toolbox. Hooking up bumper pulls is easy, just line up the tounge of the trailer with the bolt in the center of the tailgate and you will be right on everytime. Also the KR interior is awesome! It takes more work to keep looking nice, but its worth it.
The truck you are looking at seems nice but would be a tad high in price for my area, but maybe not for yours. The upfitter switches can be added later for $130ish if I remember. Traction control is tough to add and expensive. |

I would take the sunroof any day... You can always add a really nice aftermarket radio with Nav and a backup camera.. And trust me I am not that impressed with the factory Nav, but I love my sunroof..

I have sunroof, nav, rear sensors, traction control, etc. If I left one thing off, it'd definitely be the factory navigation. It is the easiest (and may be the cheapest) thing to add down the road later. There are plenty of head units that work just as well or better than the factory one.
The nice thing about the sunroof if popping the rear of it up and then opening the rear sliding window. The wind generated from that combo is very smooth, quiet, and pleasing and just much better than that from your windows. It does eat up a little headroom, but since I don't wear a cowboy hat it's not an issue. |

Am I the only one who thinks wearing a cowboy hat while driving is a bit silly? *looks around* er, oh ya I guess I am.
Anyway, I'm sad the truck I'm probably buying doesn't have a sunroof, but I suppose I can always add one later. Might even have a smaller chance of leaking than the factory one. I agree with the earlier post that it is really nice to crack the sunroof up as well as the back window. Its a quiet reasonable amount of airflow through the cab without being obnoxious. I personally can't stand driving in a car for very long with it sealed tight, aside from when its brutally cold outside. |

I probably wouldn't add one to this truck aftermarket. The roof isn't flat up top (has luggage ridges) and will probably leak more than the trouble it's worth.
For the record, mine hasn't leaked... yet. |
