Truck headed to dealer again in the morning :(
Well looks like my radiator blew again! While drying the truck after I washed it I notice excessive "dripping" in the front. It concerned me so I pop the hood, look at the degas bottle and low and behold... Empty!!! This is the second time in two months, this radiator is brand new along with hoses... We will see what they say tomorrow I have 8k left in warranty just don't think I can trust this truck past that... I'm beyond upset as I really wanted to keep this truck but looks like a new/newer one is in my future!

yes, it is coming from the radiator "area" towards the bottom of the actual radiator.

Sorry for your trouble...it's frustrating.
![]() Hopefully, the dealer will make it right.

Is it just the Ford radiator is the problematic, or is there an underlying condition causing pressure to pop the radiator? Maybe consider an upgraded all aluminum unit?

That sucks but like the guys said hopefully they fix it up for you. At least its still infer warranty but I still understand your frustration.

If they don't find anything underlying causing it and just fix the radiator then I'm trading it in on something either another ford or dare I say... Cummins

Let us know what they find out. There has to be something causing it to go bad.

Could have bad head gaskets? I know shortly after my gaskets went out my radiator started leaking because of all the pressure

Found no underlying cause... Not buying it....they replaced the lower hose which they say was leaking. Currently shopping for a new truck this thing is gone!
