6.4 oil cooler delete?!

I was talking to a guy and he said he doesnt think there is such thing for the 6.4 I disagreed... Neetless to say now I'm going to ask the rest of the world cause I hear the oil cooler is #1 problem with these 6.4's so if there is a delete is it a realllllly SMART decision to make and if so what do they usually cost and whats a good one?

You must mean an "egr" cooler delete. I don't think anyone would delete the oil cooler because that just wouldn't make sense.

i agree too, that doesnt sound right. I think you mean the ERG cooler. Oil cooler, correct me if im wrong sits in the intake manifold and has coolant just running by it. or is that the 6.0ltr that has it set up that way???

Either way, etnies86, we think you misunderstood someone or misread it wrong. The EGR cooler is the main problem with these motors as well as the 6.0ltr's. its all good though, we all make mistakes and are human.

You don't see the oil cooler getting clogged as much in the 6.4's as the 6.0. They don't have oil cooler deletes but they do have oil cooler relocation kits where I think it air cools it up front by the radiator.
