I was wondering between these two fuel additives which one is better? I've researched both of them and I see that Opti-Lube XPD placed second in the lubricisity test and the Schaeffer's Diesesel Treat 2000 placed like 6th. I'm looking to quiet down, clean and lube the injectors, an added bonus would be to improve MPG. Ecomonically which one is bang for the buck? Ultimately I'm looking for the best all around fuel additive. So between just these two, what are you running, thanks!
I have used Diesel Kleen and XPD never used the other. I see some mileage increase. 1-1.5 for both. My roommate and I split orders on 5 gallon buckets of XPD so I can't tell you on economics of it.
ive only used diesel kleen i think i might try opti lube cause I found a place recently that sells it but does it increase cetane?
sorry not trying to hihjack but to answer your question from what ive read opti lube is better then Schaeffer's
