Straight pipe whistle

So my truck, 08 6.4 has either a turbo back or down pipe back straight pipe 4 inch exhaust with a free flow muffler. It has the stock turbos and an h&s mini maxx. I haven't driven the truck since the delete. My question is with the windows down is the turbo whistle clearly noticeable when you lay on the pedal?

Could the stock down pipe have anything to do with that if it is down pipe back?

What is stopping you from getting in your truck... rolling the windows down... and finding out if the turbo whistle is noticeable when you lay on the pedal??? lol Get out there and get on it!

Haha trust me I would if I could but it went straight from one shop to another for other mods!! Just Askin for others experiences lol

I don't hear much of a whistle like a 6.0. More like whooooooosh. Lol u will understand when you get to drive it.

Mine sounds almost identical to my clothes dryer vent on the outside of my house.....just maybe a little more forceful sounding.

I did have a chance to listen from the sidewalk the other day, as my wife drove it away when she had to drop me off somewhere. It sounds much better from the sidewalk than I thought it would!

I know. There are 3 tuned 6.4's on my street and when I heard my buddy go by I flipped out and was asking him what turbos he put in because I had never heard it from outside before. Lol. I wouldn't mind if it were louder though

i really miss the sound of my 6.0 but the 6.4 does sound good too ahah when i first got mine i had my wife rip around our block i was like a little kid on christmas
