Egr delete?
What exactly is the egr and what is the purpose of blocking it off?

EGR stands for Exhuast Gas Recirculation. It takes some Exhuast gasses and puts tem back into the combustion chamber to help in emissions and fuel economy. So if you live in an emissions controlled state (California) do not take it off.
