egr blockoff plate leaking...

I noticed the other day coolant leaking from the truck I look and it ended up being the egr block off plate and appeared to be silicone around it... I bought the truck already deleted so i'm not sure how bad it is.. Question is do I have or order a specific o-ring or gasket for the plate? Or can I just take it off clean it up and make a gasket? any help would be great thanks. the egr delete is from sinister

If thats leaking coolant it sounds like you have a cracked egr cooler and you're going to want to do a full delete now but I'm just a 6.4 fan that reads up on the trucks so maybe someone that owns a 6.4 will chime in

Is the egr coolers totally gone or are they just plates slipped in. I'm thinking you have the full delete because the block off plates that slide in dont mess with the coolant. It would be best if ya took a picture of where its leaking so we can see what u see and tell ya what's the best way to go. If I'm thinking correctly it uses a o ring.

i thought the egr block off plate only blocked off exhaust gas from entering the cooler. i was goingt to do that myself as no hot exhaust to boil my coolant then all should be good. but from what is sounds like, your cooler is ruptured and coolant is leaking into the cooler.

Ill take a picture tomorrow and post it. You can only see it if you look down on the front of the motor it's about half way down kinda hard to see. I'm pretty sure it's a full delete because I just did thermostats and I hear the get system gets in the way of them. I had no issues. It's leaking around the plate almost like it was poorly installed or something. Can I order another o-ring? Or does anyone know the o.d. Of if so I can pick one up from the hardware store? Thanks. Sorry I'm not that familiar with the 6.4 I'm a new owner and just want to make the truck right.
