Well as some may know I recently purchased a used 08 6.4L. I recently noticed my coolant was low. I brought it in today to get it looked at turns out the radiator hose is keeling as well as the radiator!!!! It is being covered under warranty but I'm still beyond my self that the dealer did not diagnose/service it well enough to figure this out!! I'm having my original dealer do the work for me as I will never buy anything from them again! Just wanted to vent

The rad hoses are a weak Ford design. The radiator on the 2008 Job 1trucks were also problematic and were fixed in later job numbers and model years. I have an '09 and have had both upper and lower rad hoses replaced under warranty. The dealership overfilled my coolant so I had to go back to get them to drain it.
