Spring rates on coilovers
Hey all,
Trying to sort my suspension out...still. What spring rates and lengths are you guys running on your coilovers? I have a 10 inch travel coilover on my truck, with a 40-45% droop. Trying to sort out lengths and rates of a dual rate set up. Any numbers and experiences would be great! |

I have not done one on a Superduty but when I did mine on my Scout I got all of my information from pirate4x4.com. They have a great forum full of information about custom suspension set ups.

Yep. Reading there too. But hoping to find some of the carli icon fabtech numbers as well.

Gotcha.. What coilovers are you using and what diameter?
I have a extra set of 2.0's and I am wondering if I can get away with running those in the rear.......... I am thinking that might be wishful thinking. |

I had fabtech 4.0 coilovers on my truck and it rode like complete s h i t!! Way too big of a coilover. A buddy of mine use to have a harley f250 with King Coils that were 3.0x14" diameter with 3.75x22x350lb coils. His truck was one of the best riding lifted trucks I have been in. Call king/fox or any other coilover manufacturer and they will set you up with the proper spring rated coilovers.
