Oil in my CAC boots?

Ok, so I decided to replace my inter cooler boots and when I pulled the cold side boots off this morning, there was oil pooled inside both of them. Not enough to run out on the ground but enough to be a little messy. Problem? I cleaned it all out and put the new boots on (Diesel Site ones). I haven't done the hot side yet, but hope to this afternoon. Will update on what I find there.

That is normal and if you want to get rid of it (many people do) then research the "CCV Mod"

I know about that mod...just haven't had the time yet. That's kind of what I thought, but thanks for confirming and easing my mind!

I will be installing my ccv mod, and riffraff boots tonight (well hopefully it won't take longer then three days

Finished with the hit side boots...top one is a pain!!! Overall not too bad. They are all longer than stock, so should be more bite to seal, but makes it a little harder to get in. For anyone who ordered a kit package...the bottom hot side CAC clamp is one size bigger than all the others. Pay attention!

Yup totally normal I have the Dieselsite ones as well, I like how they are longer than stock so you can double clamp them. Also the hot side ones have a red band on the end and the cold side have a blue band.

Yeah they are longer. I didn't think about double clamping them, but I could later. That top left one was a bear. All of the boots are orange striped now. I called diesel site because I was expecting the blue band ones, but he said they used all that material and now they are all the same with the orange. They are nice boots.

Ya all the ones i got were orange striped also. I agree they seem like nice quality boots.
