Hey guys!
I know our trucks are notorious for death wobble which I have on a pretty regular basis. I am looking at steering stabilizers now and I am pretty sure it needs new ball joints also. The real question though is that when ever I turn the wheel past center I get a noise and feel it in the steering wheel. It feels like something is binding/unbinding. Any ideas or guidance? Thanks for the help! Rich |

I used to have the same problem until I got my toyo's but I think the alignment with the new tires helped

If its binding it could be the u joints. Does it feel like its in 4X4 when you are turning?

It does not feel like it is in 4x4 when turning. The noise only happens when turning past the centerpoint. If the truck is parked straight you can turn back and forth to the left and right and hear the noise. You can also feel the steering wheel bump or unbind. Not sure how else to describe it.

I would guess u joints. Maybe you can jack up the front and spin the tires by hand and see if you hear a noise or if its binding.
