PAC Brake Air Helpers installed
Just thought I would post some pics of my PAC Brake Air Helper Bags installed. While I was waiting to be able to finish up my EGR Delete I installed some Air Helper springs. I just did a manual fill for now, with the schrader valves mounted through the license plate. I have a Air tank and compressor just need a few more parts and I will have on board air. Here are some pics:
Test Fit pic: ![]() Flipped the top bracket upside down to eat up the space due to the lift (bad pic sorry): ![]() Had to build some spacers for the bottom bracket ( don't laugh at the welds I was using a crappy Flux wire 110 welder.. Lol) ![]() Had the Top caps and bottom spacers powdercoated with my Turbo piping: ![]() All Done: ![]()

Dan that looks nice! But why did you have to build spacers? didn't the kit come with them? Those brackets look sturdy, too bad I already have firestones or I would go get one of these. Very nice!\
Also do you have a GN hitch? Last edited by 44magnum; 06-17-2012 at 02:15 PM. |

Thanks, yes thy did come with spacers but they only come with about 1.25" spacers and if I would have just used those but the bottom bracket wouldn't have sat level. Since I had to build taller brackets for the front I just went ahead and made all four. Front 2.5" tall and back 1.25" tall. No I don't have a GN Hitch.
