considering trading for a 6.4

so i am running an 04 6.0 i found and 08 F-250 6.4 KR quad cab for $14500 and an 08 F-450 quad cab for $15800 what should i look for when i go look at these trucks? what problems did the 6.4 have? any advice would be greatly appriciated.

Look at the build dates to see what job number they were. Job 1's (early 07 builds) had more issues than job 2's, and 3's. Pull and oasis and see if there were any radiator or injector issues on those trucks. If you are not going to tow all of the time the F250 is probably better and will get much better MPG's than the 450. Those 450's, even tuned struggle to get much above 10 mpg unloaded.

thanks i am trying to get ahold of the people selling but they didnt leave phone numbers just have to email. also found out today my egr cooler is leaking. now idk what to do i'm just waiting to see what the sellers say.
