How do I know what gears I have?

How do I know what gears I have in my front and rear end? And what would be the best for mileage? Racing? Pulling?

Look at your rear differential. It should be labled on a tag. If you have a 250 most likley you have 3:73's

Check the tags on the axles or diff's.

As for mileage the higher 3.55 would be better. But for the track 3.73's or lower would be better suited.
