Stuck taking my hubs apart to do ball joints !!!

Trying to take the hubs apart to get to the ball joints but am stuck an cant figure out how to take it the rest of the way apart , any ideas ???

did you take the snap ring off the axle? after that there are four 21mm nuts on the back side of the knuckle for the wheel bearing.

The hubs do not come apart, they are non serviceable and are removed as a complete unit. There are some threads on here on how to do it, you-tube also has some very good videos that walk you through everything!

you need a long pair of external snap ring pliers

took me 4 sets to find one that would fit inside there

That is correct. The hub and axle shaft will slide right out then. I just did mine a month ago. I used Moog ball joints. I got mine at Oreily, but I think checker carries them to. I know Napa does not carry them. Took me about 3.5 hrs to do both sides taking my time drinking beer.

I should rephrase that.... I took my time working so I could drink cold beer... because no one likes a warm beer. Seeing as your in AZ, you would have to drink much faster to avoid warm beer.

went with moog's upper and lower with moog u joints .
