Kinda scary
Just had oil, fuel filters and tire rotation done at dealer. Left dealer and headed out onto interstate. Upon entrance to my 2nd circle off ramp my steering wheel would barely turn. Got truck stopped to side. Fluids looked fine. Rotated wheel several times and it came out of it. Any thoughts?
It looks like they greased my u joints also. Sent from my Autoguide iPhone app Last edited by itn69; 05-15-2012 at 09:44 AM. |

Did the truck shut off or just the steering lock up?

Just steering. Came to stop on the side. Got out checked under hood, got back in, tried turning wheel back forth, bout 3-4 tugs it came right out of it. It was like power steering off and no turn to back on and normal. Its been cautious driving since

Hey I was having steering issues on my truck intermittently getting hard to turn and was pulling left and right or hard to turn in parking lots ended up being a seized ujoint on my front axle definitely get it in the shop and get them to check out ur front end it was only 60bux for front end inspection at private shop dealerships just tend to throw steering boxes at these trucks and not fiximy problem and ur back the next day,im assuming u already checked ur powersteering fluid
