I just had new Heads, Head gaskets, Studs put on my 2008 6.4 with 130k I picked it up from the shop and I noticed a ticking sound thought maybe an exhaust leak. But also when I step on it I notice a hummmmmm coming from the turbo at about 2500 rpm. any ideas???

The humming was due to a exhaust leak but the ticking in was told was the high pressure fuel pump. Does that sound right or not?

Possible but I would have it checked out that damn pump isn't cheap don't want to risk burning it up. Where was exhaust leak ? On the manifold or turbo?

Turbo I do believe. I did not do the work myself. I trusted some dumb *** to do the work for me. I also read it might be from water getting that far in.

I will try and post video so I can get some better info.

Sounds like valves almost. I don't know its hard to tell on a video. Check your manifold bolts tho. Could be an exhaust leak

They should have been, but I always check them again to ensure that they are correct. Sounds like valves to me as well.

I agree with you, always double check.
