Pinion Seal leaking

How long does it take to replace the pinion seal? I am almost positive its the pinion seal because there is slow leak of fluid on the rear diff.

Mine stared leaking 5000 past the warranty. Shop, not a dealer, charged 225.00 labor and parts.

there are a few ways to do a pinion seal

one is a 30 minute job and the right way takes hours always check your differential vent before blaming a seal

if you just dump friction modifier in you may be killing any limited slip you had
specially if your using oil with the modifier in it already

how many belts do you have Jeff ?

2 belts long belt for all pulleys except the a/c which takes 1 belt and it took him a while to do the pinion seal.
