Yesterday I was in my way to a job when I pull up next to a super clean f150 lightning. We are sitting there and he revs his motor at me. I'm being good...... Exercising self control......look at the tuner and oh no.... I'm in hot on the hd300 tune...... I'm thinking about bubbling degas bottles, blown head gaskets, fried transmissions. Then he punches it and takes off. My naughty right foot, that never has to write checks for repairs, nails the accelerator and I smoke him.... Finally talk my foot into letting off at about 90. He screams by and off into the distance. Till that point I had him by about 3 truck lengths and was pulling away fast. Might go back to the 250 tune cuz my foot can't be trusted with the 300........ Naughty right foot.

Nice kill, my brother in law used to have a lightning that pretty much ended up being mine. Good trucks very fast, the only problem I had with mine is i'd have to feather the go pedal at take off cause I could never get traction. Did he stick at the light or leave long elevens?...

Not doubting your story just know that there pretty fast trucks stock.

Also realize that unless he had a tuner on the truck he is producing about 380 hp where with the tuner in the hot setting using the hd 300 tune my truck was pushing close to 650 hp. Even considering the weight difference that's a lot of difference to overcome.
