KEM tuning.....AMAZING

Just installed the kem 175 on the used sct i purchased i cant believe how much better the shifter is and smoother everything runs. I was running the edge on tow tune and looking back i thought it was smooth shifting but takes too long and no i see how it wasn't good on the tranny! also i tried the sct canned tunes for 1 day and they were horrible!! terrible tranny tuning and the boost was constantly thru the roof. Anyways im sure everybody all ready knows it but i strongly recommend kem tuning especially for 75 bucks worth every penny

this might be worth a try.. i'm looking for other options other than my Innovative tunes.. i'm not a huge fan of the shifting.. i was just looking at their site.. i normally run the Extreme Street tune with the firm shifts.. what would be comparable to that from KEM?? 275? 310?? or should i just go with the package you got that has a bunch of different power levels?

I am not all that framiliar with the power levels of the innovative tunes but I recommend trying out the KEM. I have KEM tunes 210-345 and the shifting is flat out awesome.

Hey bro I hate to take over your thread but......

I noticed that you said you purchased a used SCT. Was it unlocked? Or was it locked to another truck?

Reason I ask is because a buddy got his truck stolen and just gave me his SCT tuner, now sct will reflash it for 85 bucks. But if I can just send it to KEM and have them load customs and unlock it i'd rather do that. Is this possible in anyway or am I fu**ed and have to go through SCT?

Mine was unlocked I e-mail sct the sct vin before i bought it to make sure. It will tell you the second you plug it in. I just ordered the tune online and he e-mailed it to me shortly after and installed it on the computer myself it was very easy. I think ill be ordering the 210 tune very soon.

I just re read your post and i think you will have to go thru SCT but either way that not back 85 bucks for re flash then 75 for a good tune
