Leafs VS Blocks (read through)
So, I purchase a used 8" Pro-comp kit off of here. Seller sent all of the tracking numbers and all was good. Everything comes in save for a leaf spring and I end up calling UPS and they say they lost it. WTF man, a 100# piece of curved steel... you lose? Now I am getting the run around and the seller needs to send proof that he paid a certain amount for the part. Now the F'd up part is, what do I do if they pay me for 1 leaf. Remember, its a used spring so it's probably settled out a bit. Having a brand new leaf and a used one will probably ride weird and I do not want an uneven looking vehicle. Now past all of that BS. AT this point the leaf is roughly rounded to $200 bucks. Would you add a big block to the stock leaf? or would you just buy two brand new leafs? What would ride better and have the better payload and towing capability.

I have no idea but if they were going to pay I would go with two new leafs.

I would get a price on a brand new leaf set from pro comp and charge them that price, you might get lucky with someone in customer service that will understand that the leaf you did get is useless without the other one,you need to press the point that its useless without the other one cuz there sold in a set and they may understand your point, and try to be polite as long as you can as hard as it is to be. good luck

Yeah, just talked to him and he said his dad worked in a steel factory for 40 years so he understands the properties of steel. It's something that will have to be done on corporate level it seems like. I'm still convinced it was stolen. If it was, I hope the D-bags truck cat walks, sits off level, and tears up a $400 tire in a month.
May do some traction blocks then.
