To Buy 2008 F250 -- Advice
Guys, new here... sent from Humvette on the Hummer Network!
I'm looking at a 2008 Ford F-250 Lariat loaded; one owner, great condition. Based on the VIN "EB" it is a Job2 release. The only thing that worries me is the fact it has 160k miles.. but, after all, it's a work horse diesel! Should I really be worried? I will be using it as a daily driver, and occasionally hauling a 9k payload. Anything I need to be made aware of that I'm not already considering? Also.. it's got a console/seat combo in the front.. anyone have any tips on obtaining a tan leather full console? Thanks, Travis |

I picked mine up with that many miles over a year ago and all i have had to do is replace the belt tensioner. Look it over very well, check all the fluids, drain the water seperater and see if you get just fuel pretty fast. How much are they asking?

Get it, you will be happy you did. The 6.4l is one of the most solid platforms on the road.

Off topic but how do you tell if your tensioner is bad? I started my truck the other day and had a bad belt squeal. Thoughts? |
