I will receive my truck in Belgium Wednesday morning
, after 2 months across the Ocean and the fuel tank empty (maybe one gallon in it).What is your advices before drive to home (450 miles) ? |

Drain the water seperator, check over all the fluids make sure they look good. I would let it run for awhile after filling it up.

I'd go ahead and change the fuel filters before you hit the road and drain them a few times on the way. That's being overly cautious but safe IMO.

Having shipped a vehicle across the ocean, I would check EVERYTHING for rust! That much time can be hell on metal.
![]() Once you get home, run your truck out of fuel and drop the tank and do a visual inspection there too, to ensure you don't have an issue with rust in the tank. |

I can not change the fuel filters on the port before take the road, I will drain often along the way to be sure... |
