Finally got my Airdog 2 installed!

Ordered this bad boy from PTP 2 months ago and just this past weekend finally got to putting it in. Install went pretty well, had to change a few other things around under the truck to fit everything the way I wanted due to the fact I have a regular cab with not much room to work with. Over all quality is awesome. Only thing I could see them improving on is the wiring... little cheesy in my mind when compared to all the other quality parts that come with the kit. Luckily wiring is my bread and butter so I fixed that pretty quick... but I'm very happy to know I've got some good filteration going on now! Figured I'd post some install pics as there arent very many on here and hopefully this may help someone along the line.

Looks good. Did you add the shield around it? Don't recall it coming in the kits normally.

Yeah I added the shield. It's a piece of 1/8" alum I had in the shop. I figured since it's mounted on the outside of the frame rail in a spot where debris would have a better chance to hit a filter it's cheap insurance. I'm going to be mounting my coolant filter in a similar spot on the passenger side and I'm going to add a shield to that too.

looks good, i always wonder about the filters hanging low like you see on all the dodges, lol

My buddy and I put one on his LMM also and buy does that thing sit low. I'd almost debate even putting it on if it were my truck... but he wanted it! Yet another thing I love about my Ford, the bottom of this is still higher than the bottom of the cab under the door.
