what brand/model alarm do you have?

what functions were installed and how's it working out for you?

I don't want to come out to find a busted window/lock and my stuff gone. IT's happened to me before in broad daylight. A-hole/crackhead jimmyed my lock and couldn't get it open and then busted my window to pass up some really expensive fishing gear, range bag to steal 5 dollars out of my console in my F-150. I was cleaning out little pieces of glass till the day I sold it. Valuable lesson in not to keep any valuables in my truck.

Seems like the Viper in various models with remote start is pretty popular after all the searching/reading on the forum. Don't want to spend a bunch just want to keep my stuff secure and deter theft. Autostart isn't necessary.

Put a compustar on my new 06 f-350 after my 00 was stolen, works great for me and has the auto start, with temp settings and all the bells and whistles installed for about $475. has an adjustable shock sensor whic is user freindly so you can set it a little more sensative if your going to be in a bad area.

I have the viper alarm/remote start. Works great. It also has a timed shut off feature that I use as a turbo timer that works great.
