6.4 OEM fuel and oil filters

Anyone running filters other than Ford OEM? Tried doing a search but didn't come up with anything. When I was wrenching on big trucks we used Fleetguard on everything. Just wondering about switching to something better/cheaper since ford stuff seems to be more expensive and not always the best.

Ideas or comments anyone??

You can go straight to Racor to get them cheaper.
O'Reilly's brand SEEMS to be a Racor filter now. Same with Fram.

I run racor oil filters that I buy in "bulk" and for fuel I use the airdog, with the stock ford secondary motor filter. If anyone needs any stock fuel/water sep filters that are mounted on the frame I have a few just sitting around collecting dust I would give you for free.

Where do you suggest ordering the Racor filters from? I want to put an airdog on, but not quite in the budget just yet. The Racor filters are the exact same as the OEM Ford filters if I'm not mistaken? Just trying to get a good set of filters without spending $100 at Ford in the process.

Just ordered a set of filters from Dieselfiltersonline and even with shipping I saved a little over $20 from what I can get by going to local ford parts department. Total was. $66 and change for oil and fuel. Racor filters.
